Barnes X 110

Anyone got some supersonic load data for the 300 BLK using Barnes X 110gr bullets? The faster the better velocity wise.

thanks,

I have whisper data with Barnes tsx w/ VVN 110 @ 19.0

YOU SHOULD START 10% LOWER IN POWDER WEIGHT AND WORK UP.

I never got consistent velocities using H-110 sub or super needless to say its not one of my fav's.

How accurate is your setup with that load and do you know your fps? Or better yet, what velocities can I expect to achieve using this data from my 16" barrel?

Also, where can I find a heavier buffer for my AR for shooting this load? My gas port is in the pistol position.

I'm wanting to use this for deer hunting this fall. After that I'll be ready to get my suppressor and start hunting quietly :D

If you want to be conservative, 2375 fps is what Hornady gets with 110 grain bullets.

If you have a real Blackout chamber - 2400 is conservative and 2450 is max.

This is assuming you are not seating the bullet super deep.

I DO have a BLK chamber. :D What should my OAL be with this bullet? Keep in mind I'm using AR mags.

thanks,

2.1 at most. 2.050 at least.

No, but if you change primers you need to reduce the load and work it up again.

Will a 1:8 twist stabilize the 110gr bullet?

thanks,
