Whisper cartridges: several questions

Gentlemen,

Thank you all for the information that you share with us.
Please forgive me so ask you some questions that come from someone that is not very savvy about reloading...

1st - What are the ballistics of a 107 Lapua Scenar out of a 6.5 Whisper, hottest supersonic load?

2nd - Can the .300 Whisper be redesigned so that a 190 grain FMJBT bullet (the heaviest bullet that the common 1 in 10" twist barrel stabilizes) is accepted as the heaviest load, something that would allow the cartridge to increase in lenght and thus in capacity?

3rd - What is the best Whisper loading that can surpass the Mk262Mod1 at 300-500m (independent of caliber) and still fit in an AR15 Magazine?

Many thanks!

Some people might have better answers than mine here but herer is my thaught:

- If you want to achive maximum speed with a good 6.5 mm bullet, you should go toward a 107gr scenar or matchking or 120gr scenar or matchking.
I have not ran my balistic program for these but out to 300 yds the 107gr my out perform the 140 gr MK or scenar or 155gr(no longer made but sometime still available) in term of speed.

-I do not understand well the second question:
Do you want to reduce the case capacity so that the 190 gr bullet become the heaviest load at subsonic velocity with maximum of powder?
or do you mean just shooting a 190 gr at subsonic velocities in a 1 in 10 barrel? (for the later that should not be a problem).

- I do not t6he answer for question 3.

Thank you for your reply, d-mon.
What I meant was that the .300 Whisper was designed to accept the most .30 heavy available bullet in a way that allows it to be fed through a standard ar15 magazine.
If you accept that the heaviest bullet you intend to shoot requires less volume (inside the case), you MIGHT be able to extend the shoulder "further up" to get more powder space.

So you might as well go with a 30-222 or 30-223.
That could be done, but that requires special dies and reamers. Welcome to the world of Wildcats.
