Unhappy I missed this one!

What do you think about this auction (which is now over)?

After looking carefully at the pictures, I think it is probably a genuine shallow fuller LanCay.
Here is a comparison picture I created: on the left is the picture from the auction, on the right a picture that Bill posted on this forum.

It sold for $ 91.03.

Yes, it certainly looks like a shallow fuller LanCay. I'm a little confused by the seller though. He's located in the US and lists all of these bayonets on Italian ebay but then states in his description that he cannot ship them internationally. Then why post them on Italian ebay?

Hi!
I was on ebay Italy when I found the auction (so that is the reason of the .it in the link), but I think the listing was only on ebay.com (US).
This link should be from ebay USA

Well, that would make three of us whom missed it! I cannot recall seeing this bayonet when I searched for M9s. The fact it sold for under $100.00 makes me suspect something in the listing prevented it from turning up under a general search. There should have been higher bids...even if it had been a deep fuller, let alone a shallow one (certainly not due to a lack of collector interest). It seems to have slipped under the radar of most potential bidders for some reason.
