I'm happy to see brass availabe for the 300BLK Rem 700 barrel I bought.

Mr Silvers, could you give us an update on what companies currently offer 300 BLK reloading dies. The Forster dies are the only ones I found with a web search.
Are they "officially" approved to match AAC chambers? Are there other manufacturers of 300 BLK dies which are made to approved specifications?

I have an old Redding 300/221 set which I've used for 300 Whisper (T/C version) and 300 Fireball (M1S version) with acceptable results. Do you consider that die set acceptable for 300BLK too. If not what would you recommend for handloading the 300BLK Rem brass for use in 300BLK AAC 700 Rem barrels?

The Redding 300-221 I have makes in-spec 300 AAC BLACKOUT brass. So it is likely yours does also.

Forster and Lee are the only ones correctly marked (Midway will have the Lee).

Hornady 300 Whisper(R) dies from SSK Industries make in-spec brass - at least the set I have does.

My impression of them is - I am not sure which have the least runout but the Forster make brass closer to max size which will make the brass last longer and has the potential to be more accurate and is probably the best choice for bolt guns. My Redding makes brass more in the center of the spec - which is like Remington factory brass which fits my philosophy for ARs.
