Anyone tried 6.8 Magazines?

Anyone tried using 6.8 magazines to allow longer OALs for Whisper or 300/221 ammunition?

Looks to me as if my PRIs will work and should allow OALs of 2.250" or slightly longer. They allow 2.300" OAL for 6.8.

The feed lip spread would be too wide.

Well ... try shooting the 6.8 mags in a rifle? Lips close enough together to hold the cartridges during cycling of the action?

(My barrel is back from tp555 but has not been bedded into the upper yet.)

It looks like the ammo isn't held real well in the feedlips of the 6.8.

I can try to shoot it with the 6.8 mag next time I go to the range.

I can load about 20-22 rds in the H&K mag and have it function good. Anything over that and it's hit or miss.
