Gas Port Diameter and SubSonic Loads. . .

Hello All,
Since my last post have made two range trips to test various Loads, all using the 220 Sierra.

Ended up with Two SubSonic Loads. One using H110 and the other using H335.
So far the H335 load seems the most promising.

When setting the JP Gas Block, ended up with 6 turns out for the H335 load.
This cycles reliably with a velocity of just about 1040 fps.
(Yes, I tapped the Block myself. Some Very Nervous Moments. SS Block.)

The H110 load is softer, quieter and will not reliably cycle the action with the current Gas Block setting.

Any news about Whisper Brass from StarLine?

TTFN, Dave

I've been using 2400. Seems like you can use lower charge weights with 2400 than H110.

Everyone, please keep hammering Starline so that they'll start producing Whisper brass!
