H110/296 problems?

Guys,

H110 and WW296 carry warnings that recommended loads not be reduced due to the risk of detonation.

Anyone seen a problem when using WW296 in the 16+ grain range with 125 gr NBTs on cases made from LC brass and WSR primers. Load seems fine for pressure, ejection, and accuracy.

Am using a 16" Paladin Machine Services barrel with a pistol length gas system and a three position gas block set on high flow.

Thanks,

Mike

Reduced loads

The recommendation is that reduced loads less than the minimum not be used. I have yet to ever see a factory load for 300/221. The primary concern is case capacity. With a NBT 125 loaded to 2.085" and 16gn, according to QL you should be at >85% case capacity.

When you start to workup sub-sonic rounds, using <50% case capacity starts to greatly increase the potential for SEE.
