Rem 700 and 7 barrels

The 300 BLK barrels for the Rem 700/Model-7 are available. They are 16", 1:8 twist, Nitride finish, threaded 5/8-24 and come as pictured with thread protector. Retail is $400.

Medium Contour is P/N 101273
Light Contour is P/N 101815

Ready to install or short-chambered? Are they at least from a reputable barrel maker?

Thats understandable. Do you know if the barrels are Stainless Steel or Chrome-moly and if they are broach cut or pull button?

They are 4140 carbon steel. They are button with 6 lands/grooves. Stainless barrels are not as good for nitriding.

So whats the story with this 300 BLK? Is it just another code name for the 300 Whisper or a totally diffrent round? Will my ammo loaded using Redding 300/221 dies work in your barrels? Will your ammo work in my barrels?
