Sighting in

I did this on the property this afternoon with my new Ruger #1V. My bench was a plastic garbage barrel with a small piece of 1/4" sheet of plywood on top.

Not too bad. At least I know I can hit what I aim at.

Whatyouallupto?

25-06 sight in

I've been shooting a 25-06 since 1972. I generally sight in at 1.5" high at a hundred yards. Since my hunting is limited to 325 to 1 yards and everything in between. I will be on target without hold over. If you have a longer distance then go to 1.75" . Using 120 grain will give you solid penetration . Close shots Pick your target thru the lungs. the meat is in the freezer.
