At what Barrel length is the powder burned using 458 Socum, 510gr cast, and 13gr Trail Boss in a Bolt Gun?

Where do you get your cast bullets? Mold?

I am getting the bullets from Midway, Hunter Supply 510gr RN. My bolt gun seems to like the Trail Boss @ 12gr, 900 fps. I have not tried other powders yet, I started with Trail Boss because I had 5 lbs of it.

Good news on the Trailboss - I am trying to get a small amount to try and I am glad you have got some loads going.

Trail Boss completely fills the case. 12grs is still slightly compressed. I have read that Trail Boss needs a little air space, but there is none available in the 458 Socom.
