Ideal .300 Whisper T/C Contender (pistol) rig?
I've been playing around with my .22LR T/C Contender off-and-on for a bit, and thinking it'd be fun to get a really versatile centrefire barrel for contrast.
.300 Whisper seems to really deliver, since theoretically I could use it for plinking even at long range, for IHMSA/Silhouette, and for hunting. Plus easy availability of brass and bullets, ability to go subsonic with or without can, or supersonic for range and expansion. It really just seems the best of many worlds, even beating out the 6.5 TCU I was previously jonesing for.
I have a T/C Contender frame, Pachy forend, and basic grip. What do you think would be the ideal barrel (and length), LER scope, forend/grip, and suppressor for a versatile pistol rig?
I have a couple pistol and .22 cans, but no centrefire can, so a good .30 can, hopefully not too lengthy, would be great for the T/C and any other .223 or .30 firearms I apply it to in the future.
