Hard to believe since I used to buy them at a dollar a piece and wondered why so much since they were treated kind of like trash. But then my first MI Carbine cost $20.00 too.

YEa you old bag of bones, Now gas is 3.00 a gallon.
Just kidding you on the bag of bones bit. But to have purchased M1 30's at 20.00, that would make you older then dirt, right?

Just think if you would have known then what you know now. You would be worth millions.

Not quite older than dirt but I did watch the Red Sea parted. My uncle bid on a lot of them from the Air Force in San Antonio and got the lot for $20.oo each. It was justas the M16s were taking over so to anyone born after that I guess dirt was not invented yet.

Just look up tonight and enjoy the millions year old starlight. Back is easy but forward is hard. Just ask Einstein. Oh yeah, I teach science sometimes too.

They have gone up a lot compared to the original price.
