Carlo,

I find them to be very annoying. I usually delete the posts and if possible ban the person from the forums. I do however leave them if they are posting only to the "for sale" forum. After all, it is a venue for people to sell things, so they really aren't breaking any rules.

Sorry, I have been asleap at the wheel! When you see problem ads please use the "REPORT POST" link. I can then adjust the software to block them. I will also ban the accounts but most of these accounts are created by bots. I may need to make it more difficult for the spam bots to register too and I will look at that as well.

Sorry again and thanks for the mods on the board that zapped the ones that were removed and please do report problems as that send me an e-mail so I can get them sooner.

Man at one time they were hammering my forum. I added a plug-in and it's stopped just about all of them.

Hi KEN!
Glad to see you back on the forum ... hope everything is fine.
I don't see these kind of advertisements on the forum anymore, so I guess you were able to block them!
I'll for sure use the report link in the future.
Greetings

Carlo,

I just cleaned out all those posts and banned them from the forum. Keep using the report post function when you see them and we'll get rid of them.

Thanks Bill!
Should this happen again, should I need to report all post, or one is just enough?

Just alerting me to one is sufficient. The tool that QB designed eliminates all the unwanted posts and bans the guilty party with one click of the mouse.

For some reason these posts do not show up as new, unread when I check the forum. Please alert me when you see them.
