looking for info on a lathe

Hello; i was given a lathe, sheldon machine.mfg i have ni model or sral # i was told it was built in the mid 40's i will try to post a pic soon i have seen this lathe on a site but not sure which one. thanks so cal hunter.

You can try the sheldonlathe group on Yahoo or else see if one of the guys in http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/ knows your machine.
