300-221 (Whisper) reloading data needed

Hey, guys - just got my AR-15 .300-221 build done. It has a 16" barrel, 1:8 twist.

I'm looking for some good reloading data for some supersonic loads, just to get things running, loosened up, broken in, etc. before I start really tuning it up for supersonic and eventual subsonic stuff.

I have 125 grain Nosler ballistic tips and 147 grain FMJ bullets to use.

I also have a selection of the following powders to use:

2230 (lots)

Unique

748

Reloader 19, 15, 22

4064

Varget

BL(C)-2

Ramshot TAC

Would love to see if any of you all have some good recipes using those bullets and powders.

Thanks!

I think most of those powders are too slow, except Unique, which is too fast. You really need like magnum pistol or .410 powders. Personally, I think Lil-gun is best all around for 300w.

Here is some data:

I have used 2230, but it is pretty slow for the amount of powder, even out of a 20" barrel....
Standard disclaimer: wildcat reloading data use at own risk
A comparison load:

125 TNT 22gr 2230 = 2,250fps (bullet set out in neck and compressed load)
125 TNT 18gr H110 = 2,375fps (magnum pistol powder)

Hope this helps....

If this is screwed up it was sent from a Blackberry "Bold"
