Where to get thread adaptor?

Well I bought the M1S barrel which from everything I read is 1/2-36. I didn't order a different option BIG MISTAKE.

I called Gemtech to get a quick mount for my HVT quess what they don't make one in that thread pattern.

So do you guys know where I can get a thread adpator for the 1/2-36 to 5/8-24 which is the quick detach that comes with my HVT?

Edit: WOW, I got it and I'm impressed check my reply on page 2.

Thread adapter 1/2-28 to 5/8-24 with 5/8-24 thread protector.

TROS adapters are manufactured from 300 series stainless and are black oxide coated. They are guaranteed to be concentric.

Nice link and I checked their web page BUT they don't make what I need.

The link is for a standard 223 thread to 308, what I need is 9mm to 308.

The M1S barrel has 1/2-36 not 1/2-28, they make them so you can't acidentally put a 223 flashider on it by mistake but it's not 308 which is what the barrel is.

sorry too late at night- shouldn't have been posting I guess - they do carry TROS adapator in 1/2x36 but not to 5/8 - Any good machinest can make one as long as they single point the threads and make sure to make it concentric.

Here's a link to AAC's thread gude spec's

TROS I'm sure can do it but it will take awhile your local shop may be looking for work so quick turnabound.

Since no one seems to be making them - instead of making just one on the manual lathe, think I'll setup one of the CNC's. Anyone else want one? Planning on using one of the live tool machines so I can put some nice wrench-flats on them, should be a sharp looking part- and since I can resolve .0001 on these machines.......should be close enough for gubmint work.....

Let me get some made up, but I was planning on asking two ounces of silver (~30 FRN's).

Sharky, I'm interested in your adapter as well.
Once I have that, I'll start jumping thru the Federal hoops to get a can permit and the hardware... My local guy has a whole box of them!
Even then, I can't actually put the can on my barrel here in WA :-(
