M1S bbl question

Can someone with a 300/221 M1S let me know if their bbl has 'm4' feed cuts?

If so - do you run it with a receiver that does (or does not) have corresponding ramps?

Please let me know what's worked for you -

Thanks.

Nate

I have a M1S barrel and receiver that I got assembled from them. It does have the M4 feed ramps, and they are cut into the receiver as well. The only thing I noticed is that they are not as pronounced as a PRI barrel I have for 6.8SPC.

I was wrong, looking at the upper again I noticed that I do have the cuts in the barrel, but not in the receiver. Sorry about that. Once I found a load that it liked I have not had any feeding issues though.

I'm pretty sure EVERY barrel has the cuts ...otherwise feeding would be a bitch.

No Sir...

I've seen several that do not. Most of the newer ones do. Many of the older ones do not.
