Krinkov M-92 Parts Kits - Time to build me a SBR

I have a bad habbit of eating lunch and looking at things that I really can't afford to buy and I happened to see this:

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.htm...f=123&t=270636

Now because it will drop off the ARFCOM server here is what it says...

We just received a shippment of M-92 krinkov kits in. These are underfolding kits with 10" barrels, Ergo grips, folding top covers, and cone flash hiders. The kits we have looked through are in excelent condition and look to have never been issued. Pics of the kits can be seen Here They are $469

We also have extended muzzle cone flash hiders that bring the rifle to legal length. Pics of this can be seen Here We are doing these two ways. Flash hider alone for $59.99 or trade in the short flash hider in the kit for a $10 discount.
IMAGES ARE ATTACHED!

So for a cost of $481 with shipping I will have this kit in a couple days! It was not too many months ago that there were NO Krink kits available much less anything in 7.62x39 and when you could find them the prices wre $600 or more.

I did a couple searches after I purchased and discovered another thread on ARFCOM where Ohio Rapid Fire also has some of these kits available. In this thread is much more informatin about these kits:

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.htm...t=70634&page=1

Here us where ORF is selling there kits:

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.htm...f=123&t=267030

I am really excited about the prospect of building a SBR Krink much less one in 7.62x39 as I really have a ton of 7.62x39 mags and ammo!

Welcome to my small world!

Please do me a favor and post you classified in the WTS board here:

http://www.quarterbore.net/forums/fo...play.php?f=103

Then WHEN you sell out you can mark your post sold out as these kits will not last long!

Makes me sad that I have all the tools but between work, three small kids, and trying to run a small business and about a dozen websites I have not had the time to finish any of my AK builds...

Hi "Quaterbore" -

I'll post it over there now and thanks for the welcome to this corner of the world--

Ya think you have problems with the wife, kids, and all - Try being married (26 years) to a great gal that simply hates guns.....The M1919A6 in the Den really pisses her off sometimes....But she gets over it... :D

Orin

I received my kit from militarygunsupply.com yesterday and the kit is prestine new! I also didn't realize that these came with a tritium flip up that is part of the front sight and the tritum was really nice and bright! If you look close at the pic posted above you can see a little tab to the right of the front sight... this is the tritium flip up!

My kit actually look BETTER then the pic above makes the kit look... and I thought that pic was great... I will try to get some pics but this is without doubt the best parts kit I have ever bought and I have purchased some of the Global Trades PMKMS select kits... this is not select... it's factory NEW!

Talking Got mine too...

It's MINTY!

Now, do I buy a GT 1mm receiver and send it off to Inrange to get built or file a form 1 and do it myself with a flat?

What are YOU gonna do QB?

I hear BATF approvals are taking FOREVER.

I need to get my ass in the basement and do a couple practice builds but I have two or three OOW receivers at home that I had registered as pistols here in PA imediately after the death of the CB. I am thinking that I might be able to build this as a pistol by not adding the stock and then I can submit the paperwork to SBR it so I can then add the stock when I get my approved form 1 back...

This is a pretty big ticket item and while the flats look good when built I think an OOW receiver on a bigger ticket project like this may be a smarter way to go...

I need to look at things more but this is my current thinking & plans...
