Thanks for all the input. I think that I will try bumping the velocity up some and try a different bullet or two and see what happens.

now that I think of it, with a new barrel, there might be a burr from drilling the gas port that your knocking out and its shaving copper off the bullets at the same time. I had similar results when I opened up my gas port, I had some copper shavings on the back of my bolt.

I did test both of those. The SSK rounds averaged 1071fps and the targets looked about the same as those in my previous post.

The corbon rounds averaged 894fps and the accuracy was terrible.

will it stabilize lighter 180-220g bullets @ subsonic velocities?

I ordered some yesterday. I'll update this thread when I get a chance to try them out. It will probably be a few weeks.
