Both beautiful bayonets. I, unfortunately, do not have a M9A1 in my collection yet. Is there a reason one is marked PHROBIS III and the other PHROBIS Int'l and which would have been the earlier blade? Thank you.

Colin,
earlier M9A1 blades had the Phrobis III marking, later changed to Phrobis Int'l.
As far as I know, the M9A1's in green color had the "Phrobis III" marking only, while the "Phrobis Int'l" marking was used (not considering the above DS commemorative) both on M9A1 in black and tan model.
The black and tan model had, also, the "Phrobis III" marking.
The picture posted with the gold pommell is from the American Historical Foundation DS Commemorative.
