What make of lathe is this?

Hi there.

I recently bought this lathe and it has no markings on it or plaques on it. Has anyone seen this model before?
Sorry for the delay in adding pictures!

Cool

Go to this site, it is great for finding lathes. I would bet yours is a Portass Lathe of some model, they made alot of them. Click on all the highlights in the text to see others that look similar to yours. So look around there, a good start...Bob

yup, thats a portass,1920s sheffield.unless its marked FW Portass or Charles P &Sons when it could be later, but the early production was focused on hobby and light engineering lathes.A company wth an interesting history...follow metalmasters links!
