VV N133 powder loads

Hi,

I just joined the forum but have been reading all the threads for 2 years now and have just finished my first 300 whisper AR15 (11.5" bbl, pistol length gas tube). Reading all your entries helped me alot in finishing my gun as well as producing quality brass.

I want to start this thread because i want to ask for your help with VV N133 subsonic loads using 147gr FMJBT, 168 SMK and 175 SMK's. VV N133 is the only powder available locally. To be honest, not that experienced with reloading rifle cartridges.

Thank you for any comments or suggestions

miko

VVn133 is not ideal for lighter rounds based on too slow a burn rate. It may get subsonic velocity but does so by inconsistent or incomplete burn <70%. This is less than ideal as it puts alot of unburned powder into the cycling system and also into a suppressor.

If at all available I would look to VVn110 instead.
