Thumbs up Sierra 220gr RN pro hunter

Hi, im new to this caliber and ive ordered some 220gr sierra RN pro hunters, since they are much cheaper than the 240gr SMK... Have anyone tried these with any vihtavuori powder? Im also thinking about using som cheap partizan 168gr match ammo, any thoughts?

thank you...

I've not tried the Sierra's but have loaded the Hornady version and they appear to be very similar both in looks and price.

In a bolt gun these rounds are ideal with a long bearing surface and fairly long COL, for an auto loader I had difficulty with them feeding a soft bulbous nose through the AR feed ramps.

I shoot the 220 grn rn through both of my AR's without any problems
one of the has a SSK barrel and the other I made.
The feed ramps seem to be diferent depending on who made the barrel
and some do have feeding problems.
