The Buckmaster Book

If you collect Buckmaster knives, you really need this book. And if you don't collect Buckmaster knives you should have a copy for your library anyway. The amount of detailed information in this book is outstanding.

Rich started this project as a group of technical data sheets for the various models of the 184 for the BCCI site. He and I had been corresponding for a while sharing information and he sent me a copy of what he had prepared. When I saw what he had done I commented to him that he should really consider publishing a book. I would gladly buy a book with the information he had at that time and I assured him that many other people would also. Let me tell you, what I saw then is NOTHING compared to the final product. Rich went over and above with this book. He tracked down many of the people who were involved with the Buckmaster project at the very beginning, back in the days of Phrobis and Qual-A-Tec. He interviewed the key players and in addition to the technical and historical information there are many, many humorous and enjoyable anecdotes. But the best part is the photographs. Tons of them, many in color. Stuff you've never seen before. Other stuff you've never even heard of before. Another interesting touch that is available in the limited printing hard cover (only 184 copies to be printed) is hand autographs of thirteen of the people involved with the Buckmaster project. Kind of like each one's personal seal of approval.

I don't know how to put this any clearer . . . Buy the book, you won't regret it.
