Installing rails?

For those of us that do not have a spot welder I would think that steel 1/8" pop rivets will work with no problems. For a plain steel pop rivet shear is 260Lbs. and tensile is 310 Lbs. each per Mcmaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/.

I think it woul work for a while, but the l/h rail might become loose after some time due to the ejector being struck by the casing over and over again. I've seen guys use small bolts that worked, but the pop rivets would probably look better. Give it try and keep checking the rail tightness. You might be on to something.
