AKM RECEIVER REINFORCEMENT PLATES - Links and Resources

I have been on a mission to find receiver reinforcement plates for a couple of my build with no luck. I am adding this as a topic here so that I can keep track of what I have found and also serve as a resource in case my only option is to make a couple.

Background:

The stamped AKM and AKMS are designed so that the bulk of the recoil is adsorbed by the rear trunion and the energy produced is transfered to the sholder of the shooter via the stock assembly. If a person was to shoot an ak with a folding stock or as a pistol the energy of the recoil would then be adsorbed by the pistol grip and the receiver in that area. It has been pointed out that over time that this will dammage the AK receiver unless additional reinforcing material is added. The plates that I will be discussing in this thread are these plates.

LASER CUT TO MIL-SPEC

FINALLY AVAILABLE! This is an exact reproduction of the steel plates used on all Russian pattern folding stock Kalashnikov rifles including production AKMS, AKS-74, AK-74M, and AK-100 series rifles. These have been totally unavailable until now, and will strengthen your project rifle as well as provide the right look and feel. Originally spot welded to the bottom of the receiver and sandwiched with the trigger guard rear rivet, this item will correctly angle your trigger guard strap and add length to your grip, while making the rifle feel much more rigid. We now carry two designs: one for AKS-74/AK74M/AK-100, and an earlier pattern designed for early AKS-74 and all AKMS rifles.
I will add more links as I come accross them again... I am trying to find some specs for these (thickness mainly as the image above shows the general shape) as I may try to make a couple of these if I can't buy them...

Following are two images I am borrowing from skich a dealer on ARFCOM who is selling the rifle as shown in the pics. Note the receiver reinforcement plate on this rifle. It is the piece of metal between the receiver and the pistol grip!
