Post pictures of your groups!

Prove to me I'm not crazy and that it IS possible to stabilize a 240 Sierra Matchking in a barrel 10" or less. I've never seen pictures of targets. I've been told by several people that a barrel that short won't stabilize them. I've tried 3 different barrels at this point and none will. I want some pictures of groups with heavy bullets shot subsonic from a short barrel. This sh!t is driving me nuts.

Maybe the twist is the culprit. Did a 16" rifle, got a bbl from pacnor,,one of the techs told me that the 6.5 twist is what he used. Worked for me.
In talking to the Sales lady she told me that they could do a 4" twist (Yes 4"). I inquired what was the story on that and was told that is was a special order by the Government. She had no idea as to the use.
Can't get that thought out of my mind,,, that would stabilize a 30 cal welding rod! Ought to work in a short bbl. FWIW

this will probably make it worse...I've shot them stable and MOA out of an XP pistol with 14" of 10 twist. Altitude has something to do with it but 8T works fine most of the time.

I'm on the coast. Low altitude, high humidity. I doubt that helps. I'm shooting a 7 twist, and getting about 2.5" groups. But the holes are still not round.

I bought a Pac-Nor 308 barrel in 1:4 twist.

Have 2 customers in NH.Made two 10" barrels from a Walther blank which they supplied.
They get 6" groups at 100 yds which drops to 2" with a can on the end. I sent them a 10" barrel to test but haven't heard back from them yet. That was before winter. They are still hibernating or haven't dug thru the snow yet.

Mr. Silvers, surely you can come up with a target shot by one of your 9" uppers. I'd like to see the results with subsonic ammo.

I'm still challenging anyone to put a pic of round bullet holes on a piece of paper, shot subsonic from a short barrel.
