Correct. If I am reading their website correctly, the nut and the cost to prefit combined is $190. This is $110 cheaper than it is to have them thread and chamber in the traditional manner. Now, if Remington would learn to manufacture replaceable bolt heads...

Been there, much more cost effective to buy a secondary bolt from PTG.
Have the same setup in 224TTH and 17M4...it works nicely

A gunsmith on another forum that I'm in contact with is making nuts for just about everything now. I asked him if the prices would be competitive with what you could go buy an aftermarket Savage barrel for, and his answer was dang close. I've got 5 Mausers and a 1917 Enfield with a shot-out barrel that I might have to get barrels for :-)
