Anyone try a Pneumatic Buffer in 300 Whisper AR?

Enidine/Buffer Technologies makes pneumatic buffers and I am wondering if they make your rifle quieter (from an action noise).

In theory they are supposed to lessen the cyclic rate and reduce recoil, but I am curious if a subload out of a 300 Whisper/Fireball would still work effectively.

Does anyone have any experience with these before I drop a hundred bucks on one?

I have one setting on my parts shelf ... I will throw it in my Whisper and see if it changes how it "sounds" and see if it affects how it cycles. I don't think it will, but when your playing with a gas gun you never know.
