atlas 3950 metal lathe spec please help

i am looking to purchase a metal lathe for threading barrels . i was thinking of purchaseing this model lathe off ebay ( atlas 3950) but i can't seem to find any specs on how big the bed (if thats the right word ) is on this lathe ??? also the power spec's 110 volts or 220 volts ??? please help

i am very new to metal lathes and i am trying to do my home work so i don't get some thing i can't use . i would like to beable to hold a 20" barrel or so .

would it be better to purchase an older lathe like an atlas or one of those newer shopfox lathes from ebay ?

please any advice would be great

looking forward to getting a lathe and learning much from these forums ...
