115 Bergers

Just a quick note to say that I am loving the 115 Berger for target work. The Sierra Matchking is a wind affected brick in comparison!

Back to 600 on targets at the moment in the 257 Roberts AI.

I'm using 51 grains of H4350 with the 100 SMKs and this gives approx 3300 fps.

I'm using 49.5 grain of H4350 with the 115 Bergers and this gives approx 3100 fps.

(Please note all loads safe in my rifle).

Funny you should mention it hunting though. After the past weeks effort at the range, this 115 load is ready to try hunting at the longer ranges and we shall see whether the Berger hunting bullet claims live up to the hype.

The only issue is the AOL of the 115 load is too long for the AICS mag.

Just got a box of moly'd 115s. Not my favorite but I might be able to get some more velocity using them over bare bullets.
