I just received one of the Chervron bayonets, and the scabbard that it came in has been altered, the top strap on the scabbard to hold the bayonet has been brass riveted (not sewen) on the Bianchi belt clip and also has different webbing, I guess my question here is could this have been done by the military or does anyone think that maybe a civilian altered it and does it take away from the value of the bayonet?
I'm sorry for the mix up on here, all I did was ask a question about the scabbard for the chervron bayonet...I don't even have a Phrobis/buck+ bayonet for sale. I have no idea how it got added to my question, but I am sorry, I'm new to this form and still trying to figure things out!...But is there anyone that can answer my question about the scabbard?...Thank you..

I've seen many Phrobis military scabbards with a replaced LanCay web assembly.
I guess the modifications of your bayonet were made by the military.
... I do not believe that it can change the value of the CHEVRON a lot. The price of the bayonet seems situated in the neighborhood of 500 $... By considering that the blade is not in very bad state.
As for the scabbard it is necessary to put a photo. It is better that 10000 words ...
