Abu Dabi Buck Contract M9 Bayonets

Should we assume it was a standard commercial version as for the Dutch/Diemaco?

These are one of the holy grails of the M9 world. I have never even seen a picture of one, much less seen one in person. It is pretty well confirmed that these were Buck commercial M9's with desert tan colored handles and scabbards. Beyond that, not much else is known. But if one were to come up for sale on ebay with some kind of proof of being from the Abu Dabi contract, I hate to even guess what it would sell for!

I'm just back from a vacation in the United Arab Emirates.
I visited the whole country and ....... no sign of the Abu Dhabi contract M9.

I think I tried to find out something about this contract a couple of years ago. I wrote to some governmental agency in Abu Dhabi & was referred to a ministry of military affairs. I never got beyond that because either the email did not get thru or never received a response...
