A very strange 3rd generation M9

I got a special 3rd generation phrobis M9, it has some different looks comparing my 4line generation, especially the color of handguard. The color isn't pure black with some of green, blue and gray, and similar to it's handle.
Any ideas?

Humm...crossguard replaced?
On a three line there should be the Phrobis/dolphin logo on the guard.
The color is quite suspicious too, as it should be more black than grey/green.
I only noticed that the guard in the Buck M9, when produced without the Phrobis connection, used to be in a black color more ....."matt", with less reflections.
Sorry not to be very helpful.

I was thinking the same as Carlo. The crossguard looks like those used on the later Buck commercial M9 bayonets.
