craftsman/atlas 101-27430

First post on this site; thanks to the fellow who put it together. Now, I wonder if anyone can give me a rough idea of the value of a Craftsman #101-27430 lathe, 6" swing and 36" bed. Dates to the 1950's as a guess, but in very good shape and has the Quick Change threading attachment. It appears to have been made by Atlas and it has all the attachments like 3 and 4 jaw chucks, etc. I fooled around with a very similar machine made by Atlas quite a few years ago, and now with time on my hands I would like to get back into modelmaking, particularly a scale of a Case steam tractor. But, money is always in short supply and I wonder if the asking price of $500 is fair or too high or a fantastic bargain. Any comments or information gratefully received. Thanks in advance. tom
