Need a popular powder for 300 Whisper load

Im looking at my local gander Mountain for powder and need a suggest for a common powder Id likely find there, suggestions, I hear H110 (or is it H 10) should be common but I want to double check with the guru's here!

My loads are listed under the "Not yet verified user loads". I have shot most of the listed loads except for about six of them.

I would recommend the following powders for super sonic loads with bullets up to 180 gr:

W296
H110
Lil'Gun

For the heavier bullets >180, I would add AA1680 to the above list. In my barrels, W926 consistently produces the most uniform velocities and tight groups. I know... H110 and W296 are basically the same powders but I seem to always get better results with W296.

For maximum velocities Lil'Gun is the go to powder. I typically get as much as an additional 75 to 125 fps faster velocities with Lil'Gun. But the groups are not quite as tight as I get with W296. AA1680 is also a good powder to use with the heavier bullets as far as producing good velocities.

For subsonic loads I like AA#9 and Alliant 2400 for the light (150 to 180 gr) bullets. I have not worked up any sub-sonic data for the heavier bullets.

2400 works great for all subsonics. I like lil-gun so far. I have some H110 and 296, but they look to be less flexible--

Note the warnings from Hodgdon from H110 and 296:

"For those loads listed where a starting load is not shown, start 10% below the suggested maximum load and then approach maximums carefully, watching for any sign of pressure (difficult extraction, cratered and flattened or blown primers, and unusual recoil). H110 and Winchester 296 loads should not be reduced more than 3%.

Reduce H110 and Winchester 296 loads 3% and work up from there. H110 and Winchester 296 if reduced too much will cause inconsistent ignition. In some cases it will lodge a bullet in the barrel, causing a hazardous situation (Barrel Obstruction). This may cause severe personal injury or death to users or bystanders. DO NOT REDUCE H110 LOADS BY MORE THAN 3%. "

So, I take it that 2400 is good with reduced loads and half filled cases?

I had very good results with 2400 and 220gr subsonics. The case was about half filled and velocity was very consistant, accuracy good. I was pretty happy with the way it suppressed too. I fired the loads out of a 16.25" bolt action and also a 9" semi.
