Buck 184 black with no base markings, anyone have any idea why?

I just bought an all black 184 Buckmaster which is brand new and only has the name in the blood groove and some other writing on the other side's blood groove. But, towards the pomel, there are absolutely no writings. On my LanCay M9 bayonet, it has the name LanCay and made in USA but this 184 doesnt. The shieth is perfect too. It also says Buck on it.

The latest model of the Buck 184 or Buckmaster did not have ricasso markings. It has BUCKMASTER in the fuller on one side of the blade and the patent number on the other side.
