Numbered Chevron

For those of you who haven't seen it, there is a very nice numbered chevron M9 on ebay right now. It is a complete package as sold by the Buck Collectors Club; letter from Buck and all literature inserts, commercial style cutter plate, warning decal for front of scabbard. Complete packages like this are hard to find.

Wow, $999.00!

I had a serious bid put in to snipe at this one but I sure didn't expect the price to go quite that high

I'd been watching this auction for the past week and when I just went to check in on it, it wasn't there. Auction canceled because item no longer available for sale. I assume the bidding reached $999.00?

The last one of these I recall seeing on ebay went for $800 or $850.

Yea, the final bid price was $999

My guess is the buyer asked the seller to do that as I think that seller is Joe Houser from the Buck Collector Club, right? I believe the member name is Knot2Sharp.

Either way, I know this is a serious seller & buyer as I have run across them in other unusual items I have tried to buy.
