Looking to see if anyone had a load for 220/s in a 1:10 308?

Thanks

It my personal opinion that you will not have too much luck in stabilizing a 220 grain bullet in a barrel that has a 1-in-10 twist.

I believe that I would keep my bullet weights at 180 with a maximum of 200 or go to a faster twist barrel. I have a 1-in-7 twist PacNor and it is a real tack driver.

if you want a pointed, boat tail design like the SMK you'll probably have to go down to the 190 or 200 gr. However, if you use a round nose flat base 220, like the hornady rnsp, the bullet is shorter and will stabalize in a 1/10. Just load some up and shoot without a suppressor to see what happens. If they don;t tumble within 100y, your gtg
