Semi or auto?

Could someone please let me know if this control group is A) complete. B) full auto or semi

the gentle man who sold me the kit could not remember which kit was what
so i just picked the nicer lookin kit . He also said the semi was built once before and the parts are compliance. Should i just play it safe and buy new parts? I dont know how to tell original from u.s made.

Yea, you have a full-auto FCG parts kit there... The parts are complete and I think these could well be Polish AKM parts or at that is what they look like to me. Most people will buy USA Parts to get your 922(r) parts count where you need them so I would replace them (I use cheap Tapco FCG parts).

You can use global trades site as a reference for your parts:

http://www.globaltrades.com/ak_firecntrlparts.html

Semiauto Fire Control Group:

Full Auto Fire Control Group:

Note you have the autosear and spring, full auto disconnector, and the extra pin.

Now, if you were building a pistol or a SBR, you could simply discard the auto sear & spring, rate reducer & spring, and extra pin and grind away the extra stub on the disconnector to make it semiauto only.

Hope that helps!
