Newbie Help-Morse taper

I need to use a mandrel with Morse taper #2 in my lathe with Morse taper #1.
Where might I find an adapter?
Will it work?

Thanks

Exclamation M1 = M2

Use great care. M1 means you have a small lathe. Any lathe will handle work it wasnt intended for. Adapters are available everywhere. The point is your lathe was built for M1! You can run M2 with an adapter but you must use care. M2 has approx 3 times, and requires approx 3 times the power to run as M1. Its horsepower. You can regear a volkswagon to pull a semi, but you are going to have to do it slowly. Make a mistake and M2 will ruin your M1 lathe. Make sure you take a M1 cut.
( If you would like I could send a pic of a craftsmen M1 lathe, with the spindle sheared off by a M2 cut.)
