Gem-Tech Bi-Lock for the AR-10

I have had a few people ask about the Gem-Tech Bi-Lock that I am using with my AR-10 so I have decided to post the directions that came with my Bi-Lock....

Here are a couple pics of the Bi-Lock:

GemTech Suppressor

Quartebore:

I am interested in purchasing a GemTech .30 suppressor with the bi-lock system. Do you have one and if so how do you like it?

I honestly don't own a single silencer yet. I spent a ton of money last year honestly expecting a last minute attempt to renew the clinton ban so I have more parts kits, gun magazines, and guns that I purchased in the last year then I would care to list...

Only problem is I have a done of debt from my educated INCORRECT guess that needs to be paid off before I can afford a silencer. I am planning to add a Gem-Tech TPR-S as I have the AR-10s (I have three AR-10s) the 300 Whisper AR-15, a few FALs, plus a Remington 700 that will all share the TPR-S. Everything I have read indicates that this is an expensive but very good 308 can.

I Love my Gemtech TPRS, However on my AR10 I have a Flash Hider BiLock I bought from them, they make three different types for the TPRS 1 is a flush mount and is supposed to help improve accuratecy by tensioning muzzle the next is like QuarterBore has the Muzzle Break style and then mine is the Flash Hider style.
Be aware though it is near impossible to mount a TPRS on a Fal as Gmtech does not make a Bilock for the Fal, they can by special order but it is real involved mainly because they don't feel good about mounting there can on a barrel that skinny.
The thread size for the screw on and the Bilock model's ofthe TPRS Can are 5/8x24 so you need a fairly heavy barrel to mount it on.
Also another rifle it can not be mounted on is the M14 / M1A this is because the front sight assy is held in flace by the nut that also holds the flashider on and again the barrel is not large enough so even though I use a Scope on my M1A I can't just remove hy iron site and fit my can because of diameter and thread style used by M1A
All in all though I love ALL my Gemtech Can's my TPRS is a sweet can to shoot with and it can be used on smaller calibers as well such as .270 25-06 and .243 with good sound suppresoin despite the smaller bullet diameter

Had a friend mount that GemTech QD on his AR10, there was "wiggle" in the can, sent it back to Gem tech and had them make the can thread-on.

Wiggle is not a good thing in a suppressor!
