Finally shot the 300 Whisper

Well my Savage project is complete and I shot it this weekend with some interesting results. I am using H4227 because of the temp stability and with 10 grains, a 220 SMK, and a CCI BR primer in 223 reformed brass my average was 1075 fps with an exteme spread of 10fps. This test was only for 10 rounds but it also shot a .75" group at 100 yards for all 10 shots, it put the first 4 into the same hole too. I also tried 125gr BT's with 16 to 17.5 grains of H4227, not as accurate but plenty good for varmints out to 150 yards or so, with 17.5 grains it was averaging around 2150 fps with no pressure signs but I don't think I could fit any more powder in the case.
