The Lee Factory Crimp die for rifles does not touch the boolit; (it does not have that ring in the bottom like the pistol FCD, I learned from castboolits not to use these w/ my pistol boolit loads, .45, .38, and .44 special). It just crimps the very edge of the case mouth.
A few weeks later, I loaded what I cast previously, they maybe hardened w/ time, getting less shaving.
But got to shoot some different loads, the only ones that cycled was the 11.4 gr AA1680, the 11.2 & 10.5 were all single shot affairs.
But I got some serious leading. Cleaned my bore out, now just have to get out and test the 11.4 gr to see if they end up leading the barrel or not. I hope not.
