Your best bet is to get a thread protector and don't worry about a Brake. Muzzle brakes work by converting velocity of the powder gasses to recoil reduction by Braking them as in brake for stopping, not break for broken. If you don't have enough high velocity gas won't really gain anything from a brake. A lot of muzzle brakes are there for looks more than actual recoil reduction. If thats what you need than find than you can probably get someone to make one for you.
