I don't think anyone can say with certainty if more chevrons will or will not show up. Yes, the ones on the market right now came from one source, but I can see this same thing happening down the road where someone comes across a large lot of used M9s and pulls a number of chevrons out. This might not be a highly probable scenario but it is very possible. Having spent many, many years searching for a chevron I can atest to the fact that it is a very elusive piece, but I do not feel that they have the value today that they did six months ago. Apparently I am not the only one who feels this way as the last auction closed without reaching reserve and the current auction is hovering around $200. It will be interesting to see where it ends. I do believe the value will climb back up over the course of time, unless another group is found.
