I use the Hornady 117 grain SPBT Interlock over H4831SC fired by a BR-2 primer for most of my hunting from my Remington Sendero 25-06. It kills deer like a laser beam and no varmint ever hit with one ever knew what hit him.
One of things I really like about it is that my rifle will kick them into a .25 MOA group at 100 yards. I have fired groups as small as 1.25 MOA at 500 yards. I think that is pretty good for bullet in the Hornady price range.
I have had some pretty spectacular bullet failures with ballistic tip bullets. As a rule, if I have to use them I always step up a bullet weight with a plastic tip bullet.
