It all depends on what you're wanting to do....
Since posting this, I've build a somewhat modified 50 EBG(based on 458 SOCOM), and this little gem I'm calling the 500 BFG, which is a shortened up 500 Jeffery to 1.620".
The SOCOM brass is about .75 each. The Jeffery brass is about the same as the Weatherby at $2+ a pop - but with a marked difference in case capacity due to the difference in base diameter.
