Hey Elmer,

Nice rifle. If what I read is correct, they only made a little over 4000 of them.

Since the AR180 was made strictly for the commercial market, I'm not sure what would be the "correct" bayonet for it. Any of the M7 or the current M9 bayonets would fit the rifle. The early M7 Armalite bayonets were actually made for the AR15/M16 rifle; I don't know of a specific bayonet that was made for the AR18.

If you're looking for an Armalite marked bayonet, be prepared to spend big bucks. These are the early, green-gripped M7 bayonets. I've seen them sell anywhere from $450 and up. They seem to be pulling quite a premium these days. At the last Julia Auction there were two of them. One went for $1600 and the other for $2000. And the buyer had to pay a 15% premium on top of those numbers.
