Okay, I am tired of researching and want to make a purchase, but need to decide on one of the following combinations:
1. AR-15 in 300 Whisper
2. Bolt Action in 300 Whisper
3. Bolt Action in .308
With any of the above, I will be shooting subsonic loads through an AAC 7.62-SD sound suppressor. I don't want to bias anyone's response by saying which way I am currently leaning before I hear the reasons why you think I should go one way or the other.
I expect this weapon to be used for predator hunting 95% of the time, but might want to deer hunt with it for the novelty. I will mainly be bowhunting for whitetail deer anyway.
I bought one of the electronic calls and started predator hunting this year which has been a lot of fun!
